There are
an endless number of bonds. The most common is the contractor's
license bond required by the
State of Washington. Performance and contract bonds
guarantee that work will be completed in accordance with
the contract requirements. Bonds are similar to a
letter of credit from a bank and are based on your
capital, the capacity to perform the work and your
character.
Court
bonds, license bonds, bid and performance are just a few
of the bonds available to you to make your business run
smoothly.

Business Liability & Employee Liability
The
assets of your business are at risk if the liability
insurance is not providing the protection you need for
the operations. The duty of care that is owed to the
public has risen substantially due to case law and
increased litigation and the need for professional
assessment is increasingly important.
Liability exposures from slip and falls, construction
defects, completed operations, employment practices, use
of equipment, product liability, professional, directors
& officers are just a sample of the exposures which need
to be addressed by a licensed insurance professional.

A
certificate of insurance provides proof to another party
that you have insurance protection in force.
Many
vendors are now requiring additional insured status,
which means your policy extends to provide protection
for the vendor. There are many other requirements that
may be needed, including primary coverage, waiver of
subrogation, and completed operations protection for the
vendor.
You can
email a copy of the insurance requirement form to us and
we would be happy to review your policy, see if the
coverage is available, and what costs may be involved.
We need the name, address of the vendor, project name
and description of the job.

Commercial Buildings
Each
building has it’s own personality and needs that must to
be addressed. Whether it is an office building,
mercantile, apartment, service station, strip mall,
warehouse, condominium, or apartment conversion, you may
be exposed to fire, loss of rental income, increased
expenses to rebuild, triple net leases, and/or premises
liability.
Let us
help review with you measures you can take to qualify
for lower rates by utilizing risk transfer methods to
reduce the exposure to loss and save your investments.

you are an artisan contractor, a general contractor or

increasing exclusions and limitations of coverage. We

Manufacturing
The
creating of a product requires special attention and
there are many variables on insuring your products and
properties; special attention is necessary for the
valuation of your product. There are ways to insure
your profit, instead of insuring the cost of your
materials. Equipment coverage including breakdown is of
major concern. There are risk transfer methods if you
are the distributor of a product so you do not have to
pay the full cost of liability coverage.
Other
exposures that may affect you include transit of
merchandise, dependent properties or customers.

Individuals or businesses that provide advice,
professional services, and/or professional duties have
an exposure for making an error or mistake. These can
be very costly not only for the damage suffered, but the
defense costs as well. Whether you are an attorney,
architect, nurse, counselor, accountant, a director or
officer of a profit or non-profit board, your personal
assets can be at risk.
Let us
help you navigate through the coverage, explain tail
coverage and how a claims made policy is different from
other forms of coverage.
